Detroit Lions starting Linebacker, Stephen Tulloch has put a challenge out to the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy (JRLA) students. All students at JRLA have been sent an assignment from Tulloch to write a 1-2 page essay on leadership, why it’s important and what it means to them.
On October 25, Tulloch will join Rose at the High School where he will have lunch with the students provided by Subway, owned by Dortch Enterprises, collect their essays and speak to them about leadership.
Once the essays are turned in, a Wayne State University Professor will grade the papers and the two teams with the highest average will be awarded a trip to the Detroit Lions game with the JRLA staff on November 20 sponsored by Motor City Denim Co when they play the Carolina Panthers.
“It’s great to be able to work with Jalen and be involved in his school. What he’s done here in Detroit is amazing, hopefully we’ll be able to do more things with the school in the future as well,” said NFL player Tulloch.
Throughout the season, Tulloch will be partnering with local companies for each Detroit Lions home game to help bring groups of 55 kids from various schools and organizations across Detroit. Participants will have a once in a lifetime game day experience including; a Stephen Tulloch Foundation Shirt with sponsor logo, food and beverage at the game along with additional gifts from Stephen himself.
