Man On A Mission

Stephen Tulloch Written by Stephen Tulloch Friday June 04 2010

It's been a while since I last blogged. As many might already know, I was given a first round tender by the Tennessee Titans, making me a restricted free agent. I have never been a fan of the business side of football, I just love playing the game.

I've decided to train in Miami this off-season as my agent and the team handle the business side of things. I take training and working hard very serious, as I work out five days a week.

On Mondays and Wednesdays I train at Legacy Fit in Miami with my trainer Manning as we work out one-on-one high intense training. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I train at Bommarito Performance Systems with my trainer Pete Bommartito in Aventura, Florida with a group of guys such as Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, and Fred Taylor, just to name a few.

I have learned though my years of playing football and training that if you want to be the best you have to surround yourself with the best. I feel that I do a good job of surrounding myself with the right team of people. I have hired a massage therapist, nutritionist and a flexibility stretch person to maximize my level of play. They will never question if I've been working hard and staying in shape.

To me working hard is the only way and is the reason why I am where I'm at today. No matter what happens with the business side of things I will be ready and in shape when it's time to hit the field.

Some of the other things I have done this off-season is travel and pick up a few new hobbies. I've had some free time after training so I picked up golfing, fishing, and boating. I've also had a chance to take a few trips this off-season to places such as Lancaster, California to give my time to kids at East Side High School as well as being able to visit Turks and Caicos for a few days.

I will never lose FOCUS and will continue to keep my eyes on the prize, and that is being the best player and person I can be. I consider myself a Man On A Mission.....

Keep busting your ass Tully, you'll get that contract. Especially if the Titans get to the Super Bowl this year...
